Xiaomi has just launched the latest iteration of their 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air earlier today. The slim metallic laptop has seen 3 iterations before this, and the latest one follows the same path of mild upgrades instead of big changes. The specs aren’t really all that far from the last few versions.
The new addition to Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook series is powered by 8th-generation Intel processor, which is backed by 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. The new laptop model features a full metallic body, comes with a 12.5-inch full-HD display, and runs on Windows 10 operating system.
The Mi Notebook Air 12.5 (2019) with 8th gen Intel Core M3 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RMB 3,599 (around Rs 37,000). The Intel Core M3 variant with 256GB storage and 4GB RAM costs RMB 3,999 (around Rs 42,000), while the high-end model with 8th gen Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 256GB storage costs RMB 4,299 ( Rs 44,000).
Like previous versions of the Mi Notebook Air 12.5, it will be available in Gold and Silver colours. It packs a slim profile with thickness of 12.9mm and 1.07kg weight. It sports a 12.5-inch full HD display with 5.71mm bezels. The laptop packs a backlit keyboard and features Harman dual-speakers with DTS sound.
The Mi Notebook Air 12.5 (2019) runs on Windows 10 and packs single USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio port. It also supports fast charging; it can charge from zero to 50 percent in just 35 minutes, the company claims. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The Mi Notebook Air (2019) pre-orders have already started and the laptop will go on sale starting March 28th.
