Xiaomi Mi6 has been announced in a new variant. Until today, the phone was available in two configurations: one with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and another with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB ROM. The new version offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage: it is less powerful, and it means that it will have a lower price than the version that you saw until now. The standard price is already pretty low if we compare this phone with other flagships that have similar specs, and with this new version the convenience gets maximized even more.
The 4 GB version of Xiaomi Mi6 will go on sale on November 11, which is the Singles’ Day in China, a day similar to Black Friday. It will be sold with a price tag of 2,299 CNY, that is equivalent to about 350 dollars, the lowest listing price ever for this phone. The other specs of the phone are the same as the normal version: the only different one is the RAM. The device has a glass back and a frame made of stainless steel which took a long time for the complete realization.
The display has a size of 5.15 inches, so it is also a compact phone, and it shows images at a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, there is the best processor ever made by Qualcomm: we are talking about the octa core Snapdragon 835 that can run at a max frequency of 2.45 GHz. On the rear side there is a dual camera setup composed of a Sony IMX368 sensor with a resolution of 12 MP. It is able to do 2x optical zoom without loss of detail. The battery has a capacity of 3350 mAh and supports Quick Charge 3.0. Xiaomi Mi6 has recently started to receive the update to MIUI 9.
