Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been officially launched in a new edition: the Full Ceramic version. It distinguishes from the normal one as it is entirely made of ceramic (except the display, obviously), while the standard one has a back cover made of ceramic and a frame made of aluminum. The Full Ceramic version has been released in two colors: Black and White. A high number of tests were necessary to produce a single unit of this device. The body was subjected to a temperature test of up to 1400 °C and also to a strength test of up to 240 tons. All the process takes seven days.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Full Ceramic version is also more powerful than the standard version, as it has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, while the normal one has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB ROM. The company did not ditch the 18K gold rim around the camera which makes the phone even more luxurious. This new version will be available to purchase on November 11, which is the Singles’ Day in China (a day that is similar to Black Friday in which there will also be many deals regarding Xiaomi phones and other kinds of products).
The Full Ceramic version of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be sold with a price tag of 4699 Yuan in China, that is equivalent to about 706 dollars. The rest of the specs is exactly the same as the standard version of the device. The display has a size of 5.99 inches and it shows images with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. On the hardware side, there is an octa core Snapdragon 835 SoC by Qualcomm, that runs at a max frequency of 2.45 GHz. On the rear side there is a single camera with a resolution of 12 MP, while the battery has a capacity of 3400 mAh.
