Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 White Ceramic version will be released: it has been confirmed through a post on Weibo by Xiaomi’s mobile phone product marketing director. There are high chances that the special version of the latest flagship by the Chinese giant will be officially launched on the market this month. To be accurate, we expect to see it on November 11, which is the Singles’ Day in China, a day similar to Black Friday in which there will be many deals on Xiaomi products and tech products in general. In case you do not know, this version will be slightly different from the standard one in terms of design.
While Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 in its standard version has a back cover made of glass and a frame made of metal, this variant is entirely made of ceramic. It is said to have been subjected to a very high temperature: 1400 degrees, and it takes seven days to manufacture a single unit. This version will also have some differences in terms of hardware and performances: its RAM will be 8 GB instead of 6 GB, while the internal storage should be 128 GB. Obviously the price will be higher than the one of the standard variant.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Ceramic White will cost 700 Yuan more in China, so 4699 Yuan, that is equivalent to about 700 dollars. Together with the White ceramic version, a Black version will be released too, and it will be more similar to the standard variant as the color is the same. The rest of the specs remains the same as the normal version. Its display will have a 5.99 inches size, an 18:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. On the hardware side, there is an octa core Snapdragon 835 SoC by Qualcomm, while on the rear cover there is a single camera with a 12 MP resolution.
