Xiaomi will soon launch its first video game: Xiaomi Guns. Besides smartphones, accessories and products for home, the company is expanding even on the gaming market. The game in question will be inspired to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG. In case you do not know, it is one of the most popular games in this moment, it sold almost 18 million copies all around the world.
But this game has been forbidden in China by SARFT, which declared that the game is too violent and it may compromise the health of Chinese people besides their ideals (we do not agree with this assessment). But luckily, Chinese people will have an alternative: they can play Xiaomi Guns. Lei Jun has just announced it on Weibo. But it is still in a beta testing phase and we do not know much about it.
It will be developed by the software house Xishanju and it will have more than one game mode with an interactive environment that will evolve based on the player’s choices. Philippe Starck may have unveiled some details about this game weeks ago, before the launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Check the video below to see them, but we are not sure that it regards Xiaomi Guns.
