Some others real photos of Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus have just surfaced online. In case you do not know, the company is expected to officially launch this device before the end of the year, together with the standard version of the Redmi 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The new photos show the frontal panel of the device, and we can clearly see a bezel less display which seems to have an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display has rounded corners like Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The images confirm the previous renders and other leaks surfaced about this device, so it is likely that they are reliable.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is expected to come with a full screen display that has a size of 5.99 inches. It should show images with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, we expect to see an octa core Snapdragon 625 SoC by Qualcomm, that can run at a max frequency of 2 GHz (at least from what rumors suggested). The SoC should be paired with 3 or 4 GB of RAM depending on the configuration that you will choose to buy, and 32 GB of internal storage. The rear camera should have a resolution of 12 MP, while the front camera should have a 5 MP resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus should have a price tag of 1099 Yuan in China, that is equivalent to about 166 dollars. It is a very low price if we consider its alleged specs sheet. Its standard version instead should have a display with a size of 5.7 inches and an HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. On the hardware side, there should be an octa core Snapdragon 450 by Qualcomm, supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In this case the price should be 799 Yuan in China, so about 121 dollars. MIUI 9 will obviously come out of the box.
