The CEO from Xiaomi India (Manu Kumar Jain) has declared through a post on the social network Twitter that the company has sold over 4 million phones in just one month. The milestone has been reached thanks to Diwali sales. In this festive period for Indian market, two important stores held an event which made the company sell millions of phones from the 20th September to 20th October.

We are talking about Flipkart with its Big Billion Day Sale and Amazon India with the Amazon Great Indian Festival. These sales were achieved just on online channels and do not include offline channels. Indeed, Xiaomi has sold a total of 10 million phones just in the month of September, if we combine offline sales with online sales.

The most sold phone by the company was a midrange device: Redmi Note 4. This is also the top selling smartphone in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5 inch display which has a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, there is an octa core Snapdragon 625 SoC by Qualcomm, supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The main camera has a resolution of 13 MP, while the battery has a capacity of 4100 mAh.
