The price of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has dropped by 300 Yuan in China, right after the company has announced a Red version of Xiaomi Mi 5X and a Black variant of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The price cut was officially announced by the company with an image: now the phone will cost just 2,199 Yuan. The reduction is valid only for China and you have to purchase the phone from an official store of the company to get this discount. Furtherly, you can get this price only from November 1, so if you want to buy it at a discounted price you have to wait some more days.
The price applies to the version of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 64 GB of internal storage, the one with 128 GB of storage will cost more, obviously. In case you do not know, the version with 128 GB ROM started selling at a discounted price of 2699 Yuan some weeks ago. It is a price 200 Yuan lower than the official one established by the company. We believe that these reductions are aimed to reach a new milestone: 100 million phones sold in 2017, and the company is very close to it. Recently Xiaomi has entered the top 5 best smartphone brands in the world, in which there are also Samsung, Apple and Huawei.
In case you do not remember, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 can be considered a bigger version of Xiaomi Mi6 but with a less powerful processor. It has a design made of metal for the frame and glass for the back side. Its display has a size of 5.5 inches and it can show images at a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. On the hardware side, there is an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with a max frequency of 2.2 GHz, paired with 6 GB RAM. Then we got a dual camera with a 12 MP resolution and a 16 MP selfie camera.
