After the official launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 in India (the company did not release a flagship in the country since Xiaomi Mi5), the company may be planning the launch of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 as well. A new teaser image has been published by the company: it contains the hashtag #YourBestSelfie together with the symbol of a lightning. The post contains the date 02.11.2017 (2nd November) and a sentence stating that a new series is coming in the country.
It is not sure that we are talking about Xiaomi Mi Note 3, but the clues given by the company match with the specs of this phablet. Indeed, actually it is the best selfie phone by the Chinese giant, with a front camera that has a resolution of 16 MP. Furtherly, it supports Quick Charge 3.0, a technology by Qualcomm for fast charging (which explains the symbol of the lightning in the teaser image). Everytime that the company launched a phone from Mi Mix series, a device from the Mi Note series has been launched as well, this makes the hypothesis even more reliable.
In case you do not remember, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 we are talking about looks like a bigger version of the Xiaomi Mi6. It has a metal frame and a back cover made of glass. Its display has a size of 5.15 inches and it shows images with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood there is not a Snapdragon 835 SoC like the Mi6, but a less powerful octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 that can run at a max frequency of 2.2 GHz. Then we got 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage depending on the variant. The main camera is the same as the one found on Xiaomi Mi6: a dual camera setup composed of Sony IMX386 sensor with a resolution of 12 MP.
