According to new reports coming from Weibo users, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 9 Stable Version on its phones in China. The company has announced more than two months ago that the ROM would have been released in early October, but it is delaying, probably because the company wants to be sure to fix all the bugs or at least most of them.
The reports are not official info released by the company, but saw these reports we can assume that the ROM may be rolled out globally before the end of October, so we need to wait just some days. MIUI 9 Stable Version is expected to be rolled out in batches, so only a few Xiaomi phones will receive it in the first period. The first batch of updates may regard models like Xiaomi Mi6, Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Xiaomi Mi 5X and Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
Some of them are among the best selling phones from the company, while others are recent devices. MIUI 9 Stable Version will be mostly based on Android Nougat and it will bring important features to Xiaomi phones. There will be the split screen feature with the picture in picture mode, as well as a new CPU acceleration technology, and much more.
