After opening a store in Greece (in the city of Marousi to be accurate) and 30 stores in Russia, Xiaomi has announced its expansion to Spain. The news came from Mi España, the official account of the company on the social network Twitter. So, the voices coming from the Spanish portal El Español have been confirmed. The newspaper suggested that the company was planning on opening a Mi Store in Madrid.
The store will probably be opened in November in Xanadu shopping mall, in which there is already an Apple Store. Xiaomi will probably sell not only phones, but also many other products from its whole ecosystem. We do not know which will be the first phones that will be sold in Spain by the company.
We can just tell you that, in Russia, the first phones launched are the flagship Xiaomi Mi6 and the midrange Redmi Note 4. The first has a 5.15 inch display, a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6 GB of RAM and a dual camera setup with a resolution of 12 MP. The second has a 5.5 inch Full HD display, an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 3 GB of RAM, a single camera with a 13 MP resolution and a battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh.
