November 11 is the Singles’ Day in China, in which there is always an important online shopping festival. That is why new rumors are suggesting that the Chinese giant may unveil new phones before this event, to take advantage of it. The phones should be three variants of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and a device called Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. The three variants of the first device will only differ for the hardware side.
Two of these are expected to sport the octa core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC and 3 GB of RAM, while the internal storage will be 16 or 32 GB depending on the variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 that the customers will choose to buy. The third variant will be a High one with the octa core Snapdragon 630 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The three variants should be priced at around 150, 195 and 240 dollars in China (that is equivalent to 999, 1299 and 1599 Yuan). Besides Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 there will be Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, a cheap device that is expected to sport a full screen display. We should have a size of 5.65 inches and an HD+ resolution. Inside there should be an octa core Snapdragon 450 processor by Qualcomm, while the price should be about 120 dollars.
