Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been launched on the market a few weeks ago, but someone is already dreaming how Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be. A leakster called @Super has just posted the first renders of the device on the microblogging platform Weibo, but probably we are talking about fake concept images because it is still too early to know how this device will be. Probably neither the company has started working on the design of this device, so the chances that these images have something real are not so high.
Anyways, the images show a device with a full screen to body ratio, near to 100 percent. That is why in this Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 the front speaker for calls, together with the front camera are located on a tray which can be extracted from the back of the phone. Together with the speaker and the camera there is an additional sensor which may be used for 3D facial recognition like iPhone X. The rear side seems to be made of ceramic and it contains a dual camera setup in a vertical configuration. There is also a fingerprint reader on the back cover, this means that it is not embedded in the display even though Vivo and Qualcomm have recently announced this technology.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, according to rumors, is expected to sport a dual camera composed of a Sony IMX400 with a resolution of 19 MP, the same as the latest Sony Xperia flagships. This camera is able to record video in slow motion at 960 fps. Take everything with a pinch of salt, since almost a year is separating us from the launch of this flagship and we do not even know anything for sure about the Xiaomi Mi7 which will arrive in just some months, maybe with the Snapdragon 845 SoC by Qualcomm.
