New rumors about Xiaomi Mi Band 3 have just surfaced, but take them with a pinch of salt since we do not have any info about their reliability. According to the new voices, the new smart band will be much better than the predecessor Mi Band 2. First of all, it may sport an AMOLED color display instead of a monochromatic one, and this display will make possible the presence of new features.
It may let users make calls directly from the band, as well as check the caller IDs. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 may also sport an NFC chip which may let users make payments directly from the wearable. The body may be made of stainless steel and there may also be an IP68 certification. It would make it totally waterproof, with the chance to put it underwater up to 50 meters deep.
The battery of the smart band may be bigger, with a capacity of 85 mAh. This means that Xiaomi Mi Band 3 may last even more than its predecessor: up to a month of battery life. Obviously, with all these improvements we also expect an increase in the listing price. The smart band may be launched in China with a price tag of 169 or 199 Yuan, that is equivalent to 22 or 26 euros. It is expected to be similar to Amazfit Band that you can see in the image above: do you agree?
