Xiaomi and Apple are among the 5 best smartphone brands in the world and they have several things in common. Indeed, Xiaomi is known as the Apple of China. MIUI is very similar to iOS in terms of graphics, it is easy to use and gives to Android a much better user experience. If you like both Apple and Xiaomi flagship’s designs, you may be interested in a brand new phone that looks like a merge between iPhone X and Xiaomi Mi6. It has been unveiled at the Mobile Expo 2017 in Thailand and it has been called iMi X (it has not been created by any of the two companies).
iMi X has a borderless design similar to the Apple iPhone X, but with more evident bezels. Its back cover looks like the one from Xiaomi Mi6 as it is made of a curved glass. But there is a dual camera in a vertical configuration just like on iPhone X, so it reminds both the phones. The screen size of this device is 5.7 inches, it has an 18:9 aspect ratio, but we do not know the resolution. We do not even know which SoC is present under the hood, but we doubt this phone is a flagship. So the display may have an HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
iMi X will be available on the market in Thailandia in two different configurations. The first will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, with a dual rear camera that has a resolution of 13 MP and an 8 MP front camera. The second configuration will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, while the camera will have resolutions of 16 and 13 MP, respectively. In both cases it will be a cheap phone, more than Xiaomi Mi6. It will be sold with a price tag of about 150 dollars in the base variant and 180 dollars for the most powerful one.
