The expansion of Xiaomi in Europe is continuing. After opening a Mi Home store in Russia, then another one in Greece, the Chinese giant has decided to open a new store even in Spain. The news was given by the online portal El Espanol. The store will be officially opened in the Xanadù Mall located in Madrid, the capital city of the country. Next week works will start and the store should finally open in the month of November.
Xiaomi has still not confirmed that it will open a Mi Home store in Spain, so take this news with a pinch of salt at least until an official declaration comes. Months ago, the VP of the company Wang Xiang has declared that the company wants to open more than 2000 stores all around world, and it is keeping the promise, even if it is doing it slowly.
According to reliable sources, Xiaomi is very interested in the Spanish market, that is why the Mi Home store should be opened soon there. Indeed, the company is actually in the top 4 best smartphone brands in Spain. At the first place there is Samsung, then Huawei, BQ and Xiaomi (which is also in the top 5 best brands in the world).
