After the official announcement on September 11, we can finally show you the first hands on photos of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, the new premium ultrabook launched by the Chinese giant. This is definitely the best laptop ever released by the company for both design and performances. In the photos you can clearly see a 15.6 inch monitor with very narrow bezels; it is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3, so it should be hard to break it. The notebook has an alloy made of magnesium and it promises to be very resistant thanks to this strong material, as well as the display.
Inside, Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro sports two grilles for fans, which, according to the company, will offer 40% more heat dissipation compared to the previous generation of laptops released. So even when you will use heavy programs or games, the PC should remain cool. There is a black keyboard with backlight, and on the big touchpad that you can see under it there is a fingerprint reader as well. At the sides, the laptop has 2 USB Type C ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a slot for micro SD, an HDMI port and a 3.5 mm audio jack that you can use for headphones or external speakers.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro has a monitor with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It has been launched on the market in three different configurations. The less powerful has an Intel Core i5 CPU and 8 GB of RAM. The midrange one has an Intel Core i7 8th generation and 8 GB of RAM, while the most powerful one has an Intel Core i7 + 16 GB of RAM. The prices are (about) 715, 817 and 893 euros, respectively. There is also a dedicated graphics card in each version: the Nvidia GeForce MX150, WiFi dual band and an SSD with a capacity of 256 GB.
