We already showed you some leaks with the specs of Xiaomi Mi Note 3, the new phablet by the Chinese company that will be launched alongside Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 tomorrow, on September 11. A famous leakster from China (mmdj) has revealed on Twitter a new photo that shows the retail box of the phone: we can clearly read “Note 3” on the front side of the box, while on the back there are the main specs of the phone. The specs in question confirm the ones surfaced in the latest leak, so we can give to this leak a high level of reliability.
The rear side of the box shows that Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will sport a Snapdragon 660 processor by Qualcomm. It is an octa core SoC and it is not the best by Qualcomm, but it is the most powerful in the mid-range. In terms of RAM and storage there is not any difference between this phone and a flagship: if you buy it, you will get 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The box also shows that the front camera will have a resolution of 16 MP, while on the back there will be a dual camera setup with a Sony sensor.
A previous leak has already confirmed that Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will have a 5.5 display, a battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh and the NFC module. An official teaser has already been published by the company and we had the chance to see the back panel of the phone in an image published by Lin Bin, the founder of the company. The phone will look like a bigger version of the last flagship by Xiaomi: the Mi6. It will probably sport a glass back and a metal frame, and you will not see a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect headphones.
