According to a new post on the social network Weibo published by former Xiaomi Public Relations Manager Yang Lin, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 may be officially launched today. The post has been published yesterday and it hinted at a new launch “tomorrow”. Furtherly, the company has announced that a global launch is scheduled for September 5 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be officially announced on September 11, the day before the official launch of Apple iPhone 8.
This info gives, even more, reliability to the hypothesis suggesting the launch of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 today. Regarding specs of the new flagship phablet by the company, we can only rely on rumors at this moment. The phone is expected to come with a curved display just like its predecessor. This display should have a higher screen to body ratio compared to the previous model.
It should be an AMOLED screen supplied by Samsung and it should have a 2K resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Xiaomi Mi Note 3, according to rumors, will come with the octa core Snapdragon 835 SoC by Qualcomm under the hood, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. But there will probably be a version with 6 GB of RAM as well. Would you prefer Mi Note 3 or Mi Mix 2?
