The Chinese giant is expanding always more in the TVs market, providing cheaper models than the concurrency. The only problem is that it is difficult to import TVs from China to other countries, and Xiaomi is still not present in Europe and other continents different from Asia. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A has been announced in a new variant, the smallest one, which is also the cheapest one. It is a low end model and it will be sold with a price tag of just 163 dollars. But let’s see its specs and if it is worth buying a television like this.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4A has a 32-inch monitor showing images at an HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and this low resolution is the main reason for its low price. The refresh rate is 60 Hz (not very suitable for high level gaming, but acceptable) and the viewing angle is 178 degrees. It comes in black color with a plastic design and narrow bezels. Its weight is just 3.9 kg (3.94 kg if you include the base), it will be easy to transport wherever you want. On the connectivity side, this TV is equipped with two HDMi ports, AV, S / PDIF, DTMB and an USB port.
Even if it is very cheap, Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 32-inch version is still a Smart TV. It has the Android operating system installed and an entry level hardware side. Under the hood there is a quad core SoC composed of four Cortex A53 cores running at a max frequency of 1.5 GHz and a Mali 450 MP3 GPU. So you will be able to navigate the internet and install apps on your TV. Together with the SoC there is 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which is not expandable via micro SD. You will be able to buy it in China from July 23 at 1099 Yuan.
