The first screenshots of the MIUI 9 have been published by Xiaomi’s Vice President: Huang Long In. But we specify that these images are not the real interface: they were taken from a theme that you can find on the Themes Store by Xiaomi. This theme resembles the graphic aspect of the new user interface, so it should be almost the same.
But we can not ensure you that it will be exactly the same, since it was not confirmed that the icons you can see in the images are the same icons as the MIUI 9. The user interface has just entered the beta testing phase and we will see its official release very soon. The interface indeed will be officially announced in August, so the launch is very near. There will be many improvements in the new user interface.
The CEO of the company, Lei Jun, has already confirmed that the MIUI 9 will have better performances: it will be smoother and more stable than the previous version. We will also see many new features. One of these will be an advanced split screen feature with PIP mode. It will also be possible to uninstall all the preinstalled apps from the phone.
