Huami, one of Xiaomi’s partners, has just used the social network Weibo to hint at the launch of Xiaomi Mi Band 3. Well, in the post we are talking about the band is not even mentioned, so it may even be a totally different thing. The company has announced that in few days the 86th product from the crowdfunding platform by Xiaomi (Mijia) will be officially launched. The date is June 6 at 10.00 a. m. and in the post, there is also an image.
Since it is a product by Huami and since it shows a man running, we assume that it is likely a sports band or another smart wearable dedicated to sports or physical activity. But we can not ensure that it will be the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, even if about a year has passed since the Mi Band 2 was officially announced. Unluckily no other information is shared on the post made by Huami on the social network Weibo, neither we have other new information coming by rumors about the specs of the next sports band by the company.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will almost surely have an OLED screen just like its predecessor, which will be able to show specs, heart rate (since there will be a heart rate sensor as well) and notifications. Probably the band will have a very good battery life since the Mi Band 2 is able to last about twenty days on a single charge. But at this moment we can just wait for the 6th June to know more.
