The first beta of MIUI 9 China Developer ROM has finally been released. As Xiaomi fans know, every Thursday the company releases a new beta of the China Developer ROM, and this week is an exceptional event since we are talking about the first beta of the new version of the user interface by the company, based on Android Nougat. Only users who registered to the beta testing phase are able to try this ROM, and it is possible to install it on three Xiaomi phones only, at least for now.
Note that the Global version is not available, and it will be released only when all the bugs will be fixed and all the possible optimizations will be done. The phones which support the first beta of MIUI 9 China Developer ROM are Xiaomi Mi6 (the latest flagship by the company), Xiaomi Mi 5X (the latest phone launched with the user interface out of the box) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (only the version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, the MediaTek version is not supported). After this release, starting from August 24 other phones will get this ROM.
