Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is definitely the most awaited Xiaomi phone for this year. It is the successor of the most innovative phone in 2016, and many rumors are circulating about it for months. We know that Philippe Starck is working to its design (the same designer as the original Mi Mix), so we can expect something wonderful. The phone has just appeared in a new render which comes from China: it has been leaked on the social network Weibo. The render shows an outstanding front side of the phone, which is even better than the previous version thanks to its optimized bezels.
The screen to body ratio of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 in this render is very high, it is near to 100 percent. We can see only one border on the lower part, but it is very thin (thinner than the original Mi Mix) and there is just space to contain a front camera. We can not see any speaker grill at the top side, this means that probably there will be a piezoeletric module to listen to calls, again. A proximity sensor is absent as well, so we could see an ultrasonic sensor too that will make the phone recognize you.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is thin in this new render and it has a USB Type C port useful to charge the battery. Unluckily we can not see the back side, so we can not know if this phone will have a dual camera setup like Xiaomi Mi6 or not. According to rumors, this phone will be released in H2 2017 and it will probably have an 18:9 aspect ratio with the AMOLED technology for the display. It should sport an octa core Snapdragon 835 SoC by Qualcomm, 6 GB of RAM and a camera with a resolution of 19 MP. A 4500 mAh battery is expected as well.
