Lei Jun has published a new post on the social network Weibo. He was talking about Xiaomi Mi Power Bank and its price, and he attached a screenshot: this screenshot makes us think that the CEO of the company is actually using a unit of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Indeed, someone checked the size of the screenshot and found out that it has an unusual length. This length made people think that we are talking about an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Even if Weibo usually compresses images and photos, the size does not change, so the length should be the real one. The only phone which is supposed to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio is the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, so it may be that Lei Jun is actually using it.
This phone will be a flagship, and it should be released in 2017 as the previous model was released in H2 2016. According to rumors, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be a bezel less flagship with a screen to body ratio increased from 91.3 to 93 percent. It is expected to have a QHD resolution with an 18:9 aspect ratio just like Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. Under the hood, there should be an octa core Snapdragon 835 SoC by Qualcomm.
